To be successful in this position, candidates will have experience in some or all of the following: community development, experiential learning, community-based research, participatory action research, community service-learning and consulting. Experience teaching, tutoring or similar education-related experience would be considered an asset, as would an interest in lifelong learning. Familiarity with communities in the City and County of Peterborough and with nearby south-central Ontario communities are a definite asset. Knowledge of the academic and administrative contexts of Trent University and area community colleges is desirable.

As an independently incorporated charitable organization, the TCCBE pays a competitive salary and offers a benefits package to employees working over 20 hours/week.
This is a permanent position @ 21 hours/week delivering community/post-secondary programming – with the opportunity to pursue additional hours seeking out and implementing fee-for-service contracts.
Level seven salary range: $38,691 to $46,429 (annual; full time)
Placement on the salary range is commensurate with experience.
